Endeavour has been working closely with Balfour Beatty Rail, South Queensferry, where it is seeing one of its biggest successes in improving productivity. Balfour Beatty Rail is witnessing productivity improvements not seen in the last 25 years in the machining of cast manganese crossings. These improvements have come about under the guidance of Endeavour thanks to changes in cutting tool technology and machining processes.
Endeavour Engineering Technologies was initially asked by Balfour Beatty Rail to take an overview of the cutting tool technology it was using. Following the initial success of this project, Endeavour was invited to expand its brief to include production engineering projects.
We have extensive knowledge in this industry, and have gathered new ideas from around the world for the complete manufacture of rail track.
